1. Selalu update Operating System.
Celah pada operating system sering kali digunakan oleh virus maker melakukan penetrasi. Sebagus apapun antivirus yang digunakan bila celah pada opeating system belum dipatch maka virus akan terus mencoba masuk walaupun dapat dideteksi
.
2. Update versi antivirus & virus signature database.
3. Setup password account
Klik start - control panel - user account.
Pilih account klik create a password
4. Matikan Autorun
XP: Klik start - Run - gpedit.msc

enable turn off autoplay properties.
Vista & 7: Klik Start – gpedit.msc
